Yesterday, we went on a road trip to meet my friend, Harper. She is unbelievable! We had so much fun chilling together...we even got to hold hands! I'm really looking forward to getting to hang out with her again soon!
So a little back-story on how I know Harper... When Mama was in college, she met a wonderful friend named Amanda. One day when Mama and Amanda were having lunch, they talked about their plans for after graduation. Long story short, Amanda got Mom to move out to California after school... Thank goodness she did! If it weren't for her, Mom probably wouldn't have moved to California, met dad on a bench, tied the knot... Holy Moly! Without Amanda's help I probably wouldn't be here!
I digress though...back to lovely Harper! So Harper is Amanda's baby girl who is just about a month younger than me. I'm so lucky to have such a sweet friend!
In addition to meeting Harper yesterday, I also got to meet Amanda, Martin, Lou, and Yolanda! Amanda is just like Mama told me...so sweet and kind. And Martin is so funny! And Lou and Yolanda are such wonderful people (Lou I hope you feel better soon).
And it gets even better! I got to see Mary and Bob again. They are very dear to me. They've always been there for my mom, and they really helped our family when she was sick in the hospital after I was born. They're pure angels!
