Soph's on vacation - Summer's officially started!

This is the first week of Soph's summer vacation.  Yay to summer!  I'm so excited to get to have Soph home ALL day!  I love hanging with her and Mom.  We've gone to the library and on lots of walks, played music...she even let me play with her and her friend Lucy today!  So excited for the rest of the summer.  Love you Soph!

Happy Father's Day!

I had a wonderful Father's Day with Dad.  Me, Soph, Dad, and Mom took walks, got tea, and played Rock Band...Dad even set up a music editing station in my and Soph's room.  Soph and Dad made a really cool song!  After, we got take-out from one of our favorite Thai restaurants, yum!  I love my dad SO much!

Save the Teachers!

This past Saturday, Soph let me come with her and Mom to her school fundraising lemonade stand.  She and her friends are raising money to save their teachers from being fired.  Isn't Soph AWESOME!  I had a lot of fun...okay, okay, I DID sleep a little on the job, but I woke up to do my share of raising attention to our stand (I think my puppy dog eyes worked on the people passing by)!  Here's a link to the Los Angeles Times Sunday paper article we were featured in:  http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-lemon-aid-20100620,0,1116243.story

Fun Times with Lili

Lili came to visit this June!  I love it when Lili comes to town!  We got to go out for tea, lunch, and stroller rides.  And we also got to go to the bluffs to see the ocean (she even carried me in my Ergo)!  I was really excited too to spend a morning at the farmer's market with Lili.  Love you Lili!  Can't wait to see you in a couple months!

I got to try brown rice cereal for the first time this past weekend!  Yum, yum, yummy!  I think my favorite part though was chewing on the spoon!  Can't wait for the next food I get to try!


SuSu's Visit

SuSu (my grandmother) came to visit me all the way from Vietnam!  What a wonderful treat.  We had so much fun going for walks, eating out at restaurants (I was very well-behaved!), and playing at home.  She is so sweet!  She also got to see a lot of my firsts...I flipped from my tummy to my back (before, I could only do back to tummy), and I ate rice cereal for the first time (I'll add those pics soon)!  I can't wait for the next time I get to see SuSu.

I'm 5 Months Old!

Yay! I'm 5 months old.  My new trick has been blowing raspberries.  I also have found my tongue...super cool!  I like to growl, talk, and mimic Mommy, Daddy, and Soph.  I love going out to eat now, and I'm much more comfy in car rides (as long as someone sings me 'Itsy Bitsy Spider' - Thanks Nicole for the great tip to Mommy!)

Still loving my toes, and I chew on them all the time.  I also absolutely LOVE tummy time.  I even try to flip to tummy time when Mama's changing my diaper...hehe!  It's really fun too pretending I'm an airplane when I'm on my tummy!  Oooohh, and I love push ups too! 

The other thing I've learned is that when I reach for Mom, or put my arms out she picks me up!  How cool.  I think I may be overusing that little trick though...Mom seems to be catching on!

Also, I now weigh over 15 pounds!!

Oh yes, of course, I love to giggle and smile SO much.  Love to you all!  Hugs and kisses!

Memorial Day

I had a great Memorial Day with Dad, Mom, and Soph!  We got to relax and snuggle in the morning, and then we headed to the bluffs to see the ocean (I took a nice nap)!  We also got to go by the rose gardens and they smelled SO yummy.  After, it was so nice outside that we went to Pinkberry...  Hope you all had a fun Memorial Day weekend too!
